Marble Hill singled out for it's innovation

Marble Hill has been praised for its work in creating additive-free moisturizers, foot creams and soaps that are effective in treating dry skin conditions and leading the way in natural beauty treatment. The Northland Ireland-based firm has seen interest in its products soar since the company began producing again in April.
Company founder Dr. Maria McGill, who runs the company was invited to showcase her business at Invest NI’s Innovation week in Derry. Maria said: “We were asked by Invest NI to show people the innovation we have developed in our products. “We worked hard to develop a formula for our soaps, moisturizers and creams that ensures they are effective and have a smooth consistency.”

Maria says her products have proved popular with customers seeking a solution to their dry skin complaints as well as those looking for a natural alterative to commercial beauty products. .“Our products contain only natural ingredients such as Shea butter, Jojoba wax, and Argan Oil which are very effective in treating skin conditions. Customers have found our products very effective in treating dry skin conditions such as eczema. People suffering from dry cracked heels have also found our foot cream has worked for them.

Unlike other moisturizing products, our ingredients are completely natural.“The demand for moisturizers is enormous. Sales have expanded greatly over the past five to ten years. Most people blame environmental factors and food additives for the rise in skin conditions.” Maria says her company has come a long way since its humble beginnings and with a new management team in place Dr McGee is predicting rapid growth “We have received excellent support from Invest Northern Ireland. We have been very lucky to have such good support. We have also been encouraged by Women in Enterprise.”
